March 13 Statement

Our hearts go out to the individuals, businesses and communities that have been affected by COVID-19. In response to the increasing number of cases and uncertainty domestically and globally, I want to update you on the precautions Foreside has undertaken to protect the health and safety of our employees, their families, our clients and communities. While every emergency poses unique issues based on external factors, such as severity and scale, Foreside’s objective is to maintain current and consistent levels of client service, including services supported by our key vendors whose capabilities have been validated through our vendor management program.

Health and Safety

We take the health and well-being of our employees seriously and will continue to keep staff apprised of our efforts related to this matter, including sharing recommended health and safety best practices and other valuable information published by trusted sources.


We have strongly encouraged staff to stay/work from home if they are not feeling well, have recently been in contact with someone who is not feeling well, or believe they have likely been exposed to COVID-19, to prevent the spreading of any illness to others and to maintain a safe work environment. 

As we stated earlier, we offer our employees the flexibility to work remotely and have encouraged them to do so, including those who are at a higher risk of contracting or suffering complications from COVID-19 and those who may be affected by school and childcare center closures.

Business Continuity

We are proud to have a sound infrastructure and robust technology in place to efficiently and effectively deliver client services remotely if employees are unable to report to our offices.

In addition to our comprehensive business continuity plan (“BCP”), Foreside has conducted a focused risk assessment concerning the potential adverse impact of COVID-19 on our business and has confirmed that we and our key vendors foresee no issues with maintaining existing service levels and general operations if confronted more directly with COVID-19. We continue to monitor all updates related to COVID-19, including guidance from the World Health Organization, CDC and state and local health authorities related to travel and quarantine requirements and recommendations. We will continue to make enhancements to our guidance accordingly.

Travel and Meetings

Foreside has suspended all inter-office employee travel, non-essential employee business travel, and all international business travel. We have also asked all employees to disclose any planned personal travel to their manager so that appropriate precautions may be exercised upon their return.

We also kindly ask that all previously scheduled visits to our offices be re-scheduled to virtual meetings or conference calls. Similarly, Foreside teams, who may have had plans to work onsite at our clients’ offices, have been advised to reschedule these visits to virtual meetings or conference calls. Your Foreside relationship manager or consultant will be contacting you to make these arrangements. We will continue to re-assess this suspension on an ongoing basis.

As needed, Foreside will send additional communications to our clients should circumstances more directly impact specific types of service engagements. We will tailor our approach to meet your specific needs and we will adjust and communicate with you as circumstances change.
